Restoring Hope Through Family Law Advocacy
At Believe Again Safe Haven, we are driven by a single, unwavering belief: justice should be accessible to all, regardless of financial means. As a nonprofit legal aid organization dedicated to family law advocacy, we are committed to serving underserved communities with compassion, integrity, and determination.
Our mission is rooted in the understanding that too many families face overwhelming legal challenges — not because they lack merit, but because they lack resources. We aim to close the justice gap by providing free and low-cost legal services, educational resources, and emergency financial assistance to individuals navigating the complexities of family court.
We believe that by standing with those who need it most, we can help transform lives and restore hope.

Our mission is simple: Restoring Hope Through Family Law Advocacy. how it started
In 2024, Anna Sciotti founded Believe Again Safe Haven with a vision born from personal experience — and deep pain. Anna’s journey was shaped by witnessing her husband’s relentless fight against a broken system while losing his children, enduring years of case delays due to a lack of resources. At the same time, Anna was on the opposite side, fiercely protecting custody of her own child. Being directly impacted from both sides of the spectrum, Anna felt compelled to help others navigate the legal system more effectively.
After emerging from these battles, Anna transformed her lived experience into action — creating Believe Again Safe Haven, a nonprofit organization that provides free and low-cost legal help for those who qualify. The organization also offers trauma counseling and educational courses, covering topics such as communication, navigating the legal system, self-representation, and legal procedures.
Why She Founded This Work
Anna didn’t want to be another success story that left others behind. She wanted to build a safe haven for people who feel forgotten — especially women, children, survivors of abuse, and economically disadvantaged individuals facing family law challenges like custody disputes, domestic violence, and divorce.
She believes that when people have legal protection, financial relief, and someone who truly listens, healing can begin — and so can justice.
A Leader with Lived Experience
Anna is not a lawyer. She is a fighter, a mother, an advocate, and a survivor. Her strength doesn’t come from books — it comes from walking through the fire and coming out determined to light the way for others. Today, Anna leads Believe Again Safe Haven with empathy, resilience, and an unwavering belief that justice must be accessible to all — not just the few who can afford it.

The Safe Haven Voice!
“I know what it’s like to walk into a courtroom with nothing but fear and truth. I know what it’s like to be unheard, unsupported, and unseen by a system that’s supposed to protect families. That’s why I built this organization — because no one should have to face that alone.”
